In a video shared on social media, the award-winning singer was seen leading his mother to the luxury SUV. Clearly overwhelmed, she reacted with excitement and gratitude, embracing her son warmly before stepping inside the vehicle to admire the interior.

Asake and his mother had paid a courtesy visit to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, at his palace in Ile-Ife. A clip of their visit showed Ooni expressing his happiness in welcoming the award-winning musician back home, noting that the artist spent his formative years in Ife. Oba Ogunwusi praised the singer’s mother for being a steadfast pillar and expressed his delight at welcoming her home.
Asake is a prominent Nigerian Afrobeats singer and songwriter known for his energetic fusion of Afro-fusion, Amapiano, and Fuji sounds.
