Nollywood star Regina Daniels has sparked concern among fans after sharing a deeply emotional video in which she tearfully expressed frustration and overwhelming exhaustion amid an ongoing family crisis.

In the clip posted to her Instagram Story early Friday, the actress appeared visibly distressed and revealed she has been struggling with emotional and mental pressure. Daniels accompanied the video with a heartbreaking message that read, “I give up,” hinting at the toll the situation has taken on her well-being.

“I tried. I feel like I’m going crazy, I’m losing my mind, and it’s not making any sense. I’m really crying in front of everybody,”she said tearfully in the video.

The actress, who had only recently celebrated the reconciliation of her once-estranged parents, said their reunion was solely motivated by her happiness.

“Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness,”she wrote.

Daniels disclosed that both parents are currently in Abuja, working together to secure the release of her brother, Sammy, who has reportedly been in detention for several days.

“Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long, but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!”she added.

In another video, fellow actress Mercy Johnson was seen searching for Sammy.

“He’s not here,”Johnson said in the clip, promising to continue the search elsewhere.

Amid sobs, Daniels expressed despair and hinted at returning to her husband.

“But please, what am I even begging for? I don’t know. Do you guys think it’s easy? Every time I wake up, I say one thing — oh my brother, today I hear good news, he’s about to be free, then tomorrow I hear another thing. Like, what’s the problem? But I’ve tried. I have to go. I will go back,”she said.

Her emotional breakdown comes just weeks after she hinted at enduring domestic violence in her marriage.

On October 18, a viral video captured Daniels in tears, saying,
“In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing. But in my house, I am a queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.”

Her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, later denied the allegations, claiming her outburst resulted from “drug and alcohol abuse” and insisting she required rehabilitation.

Earlier this week, Daniels appealed to Nigerians to stop attacking her mother, describing her as her “pillar and protector.”

She also spoke emotionally about her sons, Munir and Khalifa, pledging to care for them regardless of her marital challenges.

“I’m going to fight for my children. I’ll take them, train them, and raise them with or without your support,”she said, adding that her family never supported her marriage.
