Tragedy in Enugu as Dangote truck crash claims lives of family members

A tragic accident involving a Dangote Group truck has claimed multiple lives, including members of the same family, in Enugu State.
The fatal crash occurred on Wednesday at Four Corner, along the Enugu–Port Harcourt Expressway in Nkanu West Local Government Area.
Though full details are still emerging, eyewitnesses reported that at least two members of a family and others lost their lives in the collision. The exact number of casualties is yet to be confirmed by authorities.
A trending video obtained by our correspondent showed the aftermath of the accident, with onlookers lamenting the tragedy and urging Dangote management to take action to reduce the frequency of accidents involving its trucks.
Meanwhile, reactions have poured in on social media condemning the incident.
Enuguloudspeaker @Jamessurce2 wrote, “Dangote trailer has done it again; this time, it claimed an entire family’s lives in Enugu State.

“Something needs to be done about these constant accidents by Dangote drivers. May their souls rest in peace.”
Another commentator @unstudentz added, “Dangote truck reportedly crúshed several people to de@th this afternoon at Four Corner, Enugu State.”
@Eunice Uche – “They sent this trucks to the east to kpai people”
The incident occurred just days after another Dangote truck in Kogi State crushed the two legs of a young lady, Ruth Otabor, leading to her death over the weekend. The deceased was the younger sister of Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Phyna. Reports indicated that the driver responsible for that accident did not possess a driver’s licence.
