Katsina gov’s aide, Nasidi Garki, is dead

The Special Adviser on Community Development to Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State, Nasidi Garki, has passed away.
According to a statement released on Saturday by Ibrahim Mohammed, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Garki died in the early hours of the day, sending shockwaves across the state government and his local community.
Governor Radda expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing the late Garki as a committed patriot and a humble public servant who demonstrated unwavering dedication to the development and welfare of communities across Katsina State.

“Hon. Nasidi Danladi Garki was not just a close associate but a deeply committed son of Katsina State. In his role as Special Adviser on Community Development, he championed the cause of rural inclusion and community engagement with sincerity and passion. His passing is a great loss to this administration, to his family, and to all who had the privilege to work with him,” the Governor said.
The Governor reaffirmed that the late Garki played an instrumental role in bridging the gap between government and the grassroots, especially in rural empowerment programs and social mobilization efforts under the current administration.
Governor Radda extended heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, the people of Baure Local Government, and the entire Katsina State community.
“On behalf of the Government and the good people of Katsina State, I extend our deepest condolences. May Allah comfort his loved ones and grant them strength in this difficult time,” he said.
