Veteran Nollywood actor, Njemanze, is dead

The Nigerian film industry has been plunged into mourning following the passing of veteran Nollywood actor Tom Njemanze, who died on Friday after a prolonged battle with prostate cancer.
Njemanze, who had been bedridden for months, was believed to be showing signs of recovery, making the news of his death even more heartbreaking for fans and colleagues alike.

Rising to prominence in the 1990s, Tom Njemanze became a household name through memorable roles in Nollywood classics such as Tokunboh, Pounds and Dollars, Atosa, Issakaba, Osuofia in London, Brain Box, and Igbotic Love. His expressive acting style, emotional depth, and magnetic screen presence earned him a loyal following and respect across the Nigerian entertainment landscape.
