Body of Buhari departs London for burial in Katsina

The body of former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has departed London, United Kingdom, en route to Katsina State for his final burial rites.
According to footage broadcast by Channels Television, the late president’s remains were airlifted aboard the Nigerian presidential aircraft from London on Tuesday morning.

Buhari will be laid to rest later today in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State, in accordance with Islamic traditions.
The solemn journey marks the final homecoming of Nigeria’s former leader, who passed away on Sunday in a London clinic at the age of 82.
