EFCC arrests 30 suspected internet fraudsters in Delta

Operatives of the Benin Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 30 suspected internet fraudsters in Asaba, Delta State.
The anti-graft agency confirmed the arrests in a statement issued on Friday, March 14, 2025, stating that the operation was based on credible intelligence regarding the suspects’ alleged involvement in internet-related fraud.

During the raid, EFCC operatives recovered:
- Five exotic cars
- Mobile phones and other items
The commission assured the public that the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
