Tragedy in Port Harcourt: Woman dies in public toilet at mile 3 motor park

A somber atmosphere enveloped the Mile 3 Motor Park in Diobu, Port Harcourt, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, after a middle-aged woman was found dead inside a public toilet, leaving bystanders and park users in shock.
According to eyewitnesses, the woman had paid the necessary fee to use the restroom but failed to emerge after an extended period. Growing concerned, the toilet management officials knocked repeatedly, receiving no response.
Sensing something was wrong, they forced the door open—only to make a tragic discovery: the woman had collapsed and died inside the facility.
Chigozie Amadi, Chairman of the Mile 3 Park toilet, confirmed the heartbreaking incident to Revelation Agents, stating that emergency services were immediately contacted after the body was discovered.
As of the time of this report, the cause of death remains unknown, though some speculate it may have been due to an underlying health issue.
“Yes, the incident is true. We do not know the woman. We are still looking for a way to contact the deceased woman’s family. We have reported to the Nkpolu Police Division, and the police are here now,” he said.

As of 5:59 pm on Tuesday, police officers and officials from RIWAMA were making efforts to evacuate the corpse to the mortuary.
The Spokesperson for the Rivers State Police Command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, had yet to respond to enquiries on the incident.
The incident has left many in shock, and efforts are ongoing to identify the woman and notify her family.
The circumstances surrounding her death are still unknown, and investigations are expected to shed more light on the incident.
