Danlami Alanana appointed new chief operating officer of Nigeria National League

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced the appointment of Mr. Danlami Alanana as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Nigeria National League (NNL).
Alanana takes over from Dr. Ayo Abdulrahaman, who has been redeployed to oversee Inter-Club Competitions at the NFF.
Mr. Alanana brings a wealth of experience to the NNL, having previously served as the inaugural Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Women’s Football League.

He has also held several key positions within the NFF, including Secretary of the Referees Committee, the Players and Status Arbitration Committee, and the Match Commissioners Appointment Committee.
Before his latest appointment, Alanana was Head of the Inter-Clubs Department, where he worked alongside influential figures such as the late Chief Oyuiki Obaseki, Charles Ojugbana, Alhassan Yakmut, and Saliu Abubakar to contribute to the development of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
His appointment as COO of the NNL is expected to further strengthen the league’s operations and foster the continued growth of football in Nigeria.
