Breaking…Tinubu picks APC nomination form for presidential re-election bid

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially obtained the nomination form to contest for re-election in the 2027 presidential race, signaling the start of his bid for a second term in office.
The form was picked up on his behalf by James Faleke, who represents Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, shortly after the All Progressives Congress (APC) commenced the sale of nomination forms for aspirants seeking the party’s ticket.
Tinubu was reported to be the first aspirant to secure the presidential nomination form on Tuesday, marking the formal start of the party’s internal race ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The form was issued after the payment of ₦100 million, in line with the party’s prescribed fees for presidential aspirants.
It was presented to Faleke by the APC National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
With this development, the President has formally joined the list of aspirants jostling for the ruling party’s ticket, as political activities begin to gather momentum ahead of the 2027 polls.
