Wolves relegated from Premier League

Wolverhampton Wanderers have officially been relegated from the Premier League following a goalless draw between Crystal Palace and West Ham United on Monday night.

The match, played at Selhurst Park, ended 0-0 in what was a tightly contested encounter between the two London sides. While neither team managed to find the back of the net, the result proved crucial in the battle to avoid relegation.

For West Ham, the draw was enough to strengthen their position above the drop zone, as they now sit in 17th place with 33 points. This puts them out of reach of Wolves, who remain on 17 points after 33 matches.

With only a few games left to play, Wolves can no longer close the gap, confirming their relegation from the top flight.

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur and Burnley are the other teams currently in the relegation zone, with 31 and 20 points respectively.

Burnley’s situation remains precarious, as their relegation could also be confirmed if they lose their upcoming midweek clash against Manchester City.
