Tinubu set for one-day visit to Adamawa

President Bola Tinubu is set to visit Yola, the capital of Adamawa State, on Monday for a one-day official trip, the presidency has confirmed.

Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, stated on Sunday that Tinubu’s visit to Adamawa comes just 48 hours after a similar trip to Kebbi State, highlighting the president’s active engagement with states across the country.

According to Onanuga, during the one-day visit, the president will inaugurate completed projects, meet with top government officials, and traditional rulers in the state.

Among other events billed for the president is the commissioning of the Galadima Aminu Road linking Gimba and Yola.

He said, “Billed for inauguration in the capital, Yola, and Jimeta, is the eight-lane Galadima Aminu Road linking Gimba and the capital. The model school, comprising pre-primary, primary, and junior secondary classes, will also be inaugurated by the President.

“Others include the new multipurpose hall, the remodelled High Court, the newly built officers’ complex, and the renovated Government House.

Onanuga further stated that the President will return to Abuja after the inauguration and the interaction with the state’s indigenes.

Recall that President Tinubu had visited Kebbi State to witness the annual Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival.

The event was aimed at sustaining and promoting Nigeria’s unity, peace and agricultural activities.

He also showcased the committment of Kebbi farmers towards the improvement of the nation’s agriculture sector towards ensuring food security
