Nigeria National League reschedules second half season to April

The Nigeria National League (NNL) has postponed the resumption of the second half of the 2024/2025 season, moving it from this weekend to the first week of April 2025.
According to an official statement from the league body, the second stanza will now kick off between April 4th and 6th. The NNL confirmed that a circular outlining the changes has already been sent to all participating clubs and state Football Associations.

Chief Operating Officer of the NNL, Dr. Ayo Abdulrahaman, apologized for any inconvenience the adjustment may cause the affected clubs.
As a result of this change, Godswill Akpabio United Football Club’s fixture against First Bank in Lagos, originally scheduled for this weekend, will also be rescheduled.
