Bandits kill 3 Immigration officers in Kebbi, burn checkpoint, mosque

Gunmen suspected to be members of the notorious Lakurawa terror group have brutally killed three personnel of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) at the Bakin Ruwa checkpoint, near the Maje border in Bagudo Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
According to local sources, the attackers launched the assault late Thursday night, setting fire to the immigration post and a nearby mosque. The strike left the entire area in flames before security reinforcements could arrive.
A disturbing video now circulating on social media shows the moment the mosque was set ablaze, with the bodies of the three slain Immigration officers tragically consumed by the fire.

While the Kebbi State command of the NIS has yet to issue an official statement, multiple officers within the service in the state confirmed the assault and the deaths of their colleagues at the Bakin Ruwa outpost.
